Protexus Risks – Fitness and Physical Ability to Work Policy

At Protexus Risks, all front-line staff are required to possess the physical fitness and capability necessary to perform their roles safely, effectively, and professionally. This ensures that every member of our team maintains the standards required to deliver operational excellence and uphold client trust.

Front-line staff are expected to meet the physical demands of their position, which may include tasks such as equipment handling, site inspections, security operations, or other physically demanding duties. To verify capability, role-specific physical assessments will be carried out prior to employment and regularly thereafter, ensuring staff continue to meet the requirements of their position.

Staff must promptly report any condition, injury, or circumstance that may affect their ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Failure to do so may compromise the safety of themselves, colleagues, or clients. Where feasible, Protexus Risks will consider reasonable adjustments to enable staff to continue performing their duties safely. In situations where adjustments are not possible, alternative roles or responsibilities may be explored. Staff who are unable to meet the physical requirements of their role, and for whom no suitable adjustments can be made, may be subject to reassignment or, where necessary, termination.

It is the responsibility of each front-line employee to ensure they are physically capable of performing their duties and to communicate any limitations to management. Management, in turn, is responsible for assessing physical capability, providing guidance, and ensuring all tasks are performed safely and in accordance with operational standards. This policy is reviewed regularly to ensure alignment with the evolving demands of roles, legal requirements, and best practices for workplace safety and performance
