Protexus Process Serving – where experience, security, and reliability meet
In England and Wales, strict legal requirements must be followed when serving legal documents. These rules are set out in the Civil Procedure Rules, which specify how documents must be served for them to be considered valid in court.
A key part of process serving is providing proper proof of service. This ensures that the process server can demonstrate that the documents were delivered in compliance with the law.
Proof is usually provided through a certificate of service, a formal record confirming that the recipient has received the documents. This certificate is then submitted to the court as evidence of proper service.
Without this proof, the court may be unable to proceed with the case, as the opposing party could argue that they were never notified of the legal action
